Ohio Thoroughbred racing began in 1923 when Beulah Park opened as the state’s first racetrack. Beulah shows its history, but not its age with more than $12 million invested in renovation of the grandstand, clubhouse, parade circle and paddocks. Cheer on your horse with live Thoroughbred racing October-May. Stay late for a prime rib dinner and simulcast wagering from the nation’s top harness and Thoroughbred tracks. Get betting tips from Jenna and Katie, the Beulah Park Twins, who have been featured in The New York Times. In the summer, there’s plenty of action with concerts, motorcycle races, fireworks and festivals.
